Thought For the Day: December 25, 2009

Below is the thought of the day for December 25, 2009 from Abraham-Hicks:

You are the creator of your own life experience, and as the creator of your experience, it is important to understand that it is not by virtue of your action, not by virtue of your doing—it is not even by virtue of what you are saying—that you are creating. You are creating by virtue of the thought that you are offering.

You cannot speak or offer action without thought-vibration occurring at the same time; however, you are often offering a thought-vibration without offering words or action. Children or babies learn to mimic the vibration of the adults who surround them long before they learn to mimic their words.

--- Abraham

Our Love,
Jerry and Ester

EVERYONE have a very Merry Christmas!!  May everyone realize how blessed we all are even in these times.  We all have SO much to be thankful for and appreciative, no matter what our circumstances.

With much love and light,

Theresa

Christmas is different this year!!!

So this year will be different. THings are slim, and santas list is just a wish list this year. But its ok, there is alot of people going through this also. I remember the stories my grandma would tell me about how things were when she was a child. Trust me we all have it better, but yet she has the best stories, and memories. THis is a time that we really spend time with our children, get away from the T.V and do some art work, or take walks, go look at lights and take pictures. Ect... This is what im going to do this year. Make great cookies and watch Santa movies. Its ok to not be able to create a wonderful Christmas. Do what you can and stilll pay the bills.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! HAPPY NEW YEAR! and GOD BLESS ALL!

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to say Merry Christmas and I hope the New Year will be better for all. Thank the LORD that we were able to help 5 families in this community with Christmas. I am so hapy for that. I would help you all if I could. We still have mo money to buy a Chrsitmas Dinner for our family, we might be eating light this year....lol. We will be very blessed though, because we will be together. That is the most important thing to me, is that we are all well, and together. I hope that will be enough for others of you who were not able to recive help this year. At Thanksgiving Dinner we all went around and said what we were thankful for. From the 4 and 7 year olds on up. It was an enlightening and feel good moment.

I think as families we ought to do this much more. For everything that we do not have, someone has even less. If we have a home, but cannot furnish it, here is someone out there who wishes they had a home, even without furnishings. For everyone that wishes they had a nicer car, there is someone who wishes to have any car as long as it runs. This can go for anyhing that any of us have or want.

For those of us that have a family to love there are those out there who wish they had a family. That is a sad thought. Big or small, family is family, and we love them despite any flaws they might have, because we know we have our own too.

So when you sit down for your Christmas Dinner, be thankful that you have one, because someone out there wishes that they did. For every gift that you open, be thankful, because there are many out there who have none. Look at the positives in your life and be thankful, the negatives things will take care of themselves, and you cannot let them take away from the blessings that you do have.

If you have a Child that is ill, GOD bless you and that child, there is a parent somewhere that wishes they had a child even if it was ill, because a child is a blessing no matter what. I have taken care of many ill children, and what a blessing they were in my life, and how they touched the lives of others. Be thankful that you have that child, and cherish it as long as you can.

If a child is in pain, pray to GOD to take away the child's pain. Ask the doctors to give medication to quiet the childs pain, and in some cases when you are fighting for the life of a terminally ill child, if they are suffering, and there is no real hope, let your child go in peace back home to GOD, and thank GOD for the time you had with that precious being. Yes it is hard, but to see a child suffer can be harder still.

If there is hope then by all means fight for your child's life with every breath in your body. You will never be apart as long as you hold that love in your heart. GOD Bless you all this Christmas Holiday!

Christmas is Coming, What do you do!

I've been reading a lot of what people are talking or what is on people's minds. But I hate to talk about this when Halloween has not even happen but Christmas. Everyone is worried what to do for Chirstmas and what needs to happen.

Bills are piling up, food is so little, faith is going down and there is no light at the end of the tunnel...

So my friends, here are some tips that can help you find the Christmas that you want. Remember what it is, it's a celebration of life and a birthday of someone dear to us.

Find a job, weither it's part-time or full time but work needs to happen. Even if it's not what you are used to not doing but get to work. You need some type of money. Start running a garage sale or saling something you no longer need. Get that money going. Save, save a dollar or pennies or whatever and save it. Spend it before Christmas for Christmas.

Start buying extra at the grocery store. If you buy a can of green beans, buy two. Put one can a side for Christmas. Can good keep well. Included canned fruits, vegatable, meats, biscuits. Buy two of each and put one a way. This will give you the Christmas meal that you are going to prepare.

Plan your Christmas day, write it down or put it on the computer and plan it. From what you are going to do that day to what kind of gifts you want to give. Start working on that list. By having a list. This will help keep you on track and you will have a better Chritmas since you have a list. I've saved a lot of money and time by having a list.

When I go shopping, I found green table cloth for $1.99, which was normally $7.99. This was at a craft store. I took them and I will use them on Christmas day. I saw Christmas orienments for 99 cents, I will be buying one every paid until I get a pile of them.

You can get some great paper plates right now cheaply because it's the end of the summer and get them in Christmas colors, if not, take plain white plates and have your children draw on them to make them very Chrismassy...

Find games, and toys at a cheap dollar store or sometimes a garage sale. You can find some good toys. Christmas stocking stuffers. This includes people that you know that no longer want those toys.

If you live in a part of the country that has a lot of natural views and sceens. Go for an afternoon walk and collect and save lose tree branches, big folge leaves and use them as decoration. I'm sure you have some type of paint that you can use or put a ribbon around it.

I used cartoons section of the sunday paper as wrapping paper one year and everyone had a great time with it. The love the look.

Get your best clothes out and start minding them and making them look better. It's plenty of time to get that look just right.

Look for Christmas games to play on the internet. You can print it up and have fun with your family.

These are some tips that can help you have a very cheap and great Christmas.

Look, I do understand that you want to provide the best toy or the best gift. But remember, your child, friends and family will remember the warmth and fun you gave them during Christmas. Not the gift. Can you honestly tell me what kind of gift you got 5 years ago or last year.

I know that I can't.
